PAPPAJOHN IOWA ENTREPRENEURIAL VENTURE COMPETITION
The Pappajohn Iowa Entrepreneurial Venture Competition is intended to encourage and promote entrepreneurial activity and create greater awareness of the resources available to entrepreneurs in Iowa. New, innovative ventures are encouraged to participate. Businesses can include, but are not limited to: technology, bio-technology, green technologies, medical, advanced manufacturing, agriculture and agri-products, engineering, and education.
IOWA INNOVATION ASSOCIATES (IIA)
The Iowa Innovation Associates (IIA) summer internship program, hosted by the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC), provides ‘real-world’ experience to qualifying Iowa JPEC undergraduate students pursuing a degree or certificate in entrepreneurial studies. Students will be matched with a small business or startup for an internship, which will take place over a 10-week period during the summer for up to 40 hours per week.

VENTURE SCHOOL PROGRAM
Venture School is a 6-week program that emphasizes real-world entrepreneurship and innovation based on leading edge curriculum taught by serial entrepreneurs. This program works for startups, small businesses, non-profits, and corporate innovation teams. Teams will accelerate the startup process by testing their business hypotheses. Teams will get out of the building to talk to customers, partners, and competitors, rather than relying on static case studies and secondhand market research.

INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (IIB)
The Institute for International Business (IIB), a collaboration between the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) and the Tippie College of Business, works in partnership with the Entrepreneurial Management Institute (EMI) to provide international business consulting services to small- and medium-sized Iowa companies. Consulting services are provided by teams of 3-5 University of Iowa students who work under the guidance of a faculty advisor with extensive business experience.

The Tippie Business Solutions Center (BSC) brings together cross-functional teams of MBA students to deliver unique solutions to businesses, backed by extensive research and innovative ideas. Fees may apply.
ENTREPRENEURIAL MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE (EMI)
The University of Iowa’s Henry B. Tippie College of Business and John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) have partnered to offer the Entrepreneurial Management Institute (EMI), a business consulting service, to Iowa employers. The purpose of this program is three-fold: 1) solve problems for Iowa businesses, 2) educate professionals for Iowa’s future, and 3) provide recruitment opportunities for Iowa employers and students.

TIPPIE BUILD
With the goal of strengthening our Iowa City community and the community within the Tippie College of Business, students, staff, and faculty are working to raise $50,000 and build a home for a local family in need of safe and affordable housing.
MARKETING INSTITUTE
The Marketing Institute is a select program for upper-level high-performing undergraduate marketing students in the Tippie College of Business. Field immersion projects give the students the opportunity to work as a high-performance business team.

IOWA NONPROFIT RESOURCE CENTER, LARNED A. WATERMAN
The Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center (INRC) is a University of Iowa interdisciplinary collaboration, founded in 2000 by UI College of Law Professor and UI President Emeritus Willard "Sandy" Boyd. The INRC has established a record of training students in nonprofit law, offering workshops and training to nonprofit workers statewide, providing critical information on nonprofit issues, and developing publications and guidelines for Iowa’s nonprofit organizations.
