The Corydon mural was designed and painted by Julia Wolfe and Ali Hval from the University of Iowa. They toured Corydon and worked with members of the community in order to gather ideas for the mural. They wanted it to represent the notable history of Corydon, such as George Saling’s Olympic success, the site of the infamous Jesse James robbery and the classic Wayne theatre.
